Stephanie's Tasty French Sardine Paté

For 6 to 8 people
Preparation time : 10 minutes
Refreshing time : 30 minutes
Very easy 

Ingredients :

  • 2 sardine cans (boneless lemon flavor)

  • 1/2 a regular size pack Philadelphia cheese

  • 1 bunch of dill

  •  juice of a lemon

  • pepper from the mil

  • a dash of Espelette  chili ( optional)

Preparation :

Drain the sardines, start by mixing the dill add the rest of the ingredients until it becomes creamy. Season with black pepper, a little salt if necessary and the Espelette chili powder. Place in the refrigerator.

Serve on toasts or as a dip if you wish to serve with vegetables.

You may also use plain sardines filet, light Philadelphia cheese, chives or basil leaves. I have tried these alternatives which were delicious as well.
